Rajiv Gandhi University of Science and Technology School of Arts and Science, offers the Baccalaureate degree in Pre-Medical Studies. This degree program permits those with Associate degree / Bachelor’s Degrees (Non Science background) from accredited colleges and universities and High School diploma holders to pursue the course requirements for application to medical school and other health career programs.
Our medical program is designed to make students become well-rounded practicing physicians in Guyana and around the world. The first 2 years will be focused on gaining the basic science knowledge in preparation for an exciting and rewarding experience during the clinical rotation period. Students receive a hands-on medical education with the knowledge of global health perspectives.
